What information do we collect
When you visit our web site, we collect Personal Information transmitted by your computer, mobile phone or other access device. Terms and conditions
Sales tax. Weld My Ride must collect Sales Tax in Indiana (7%), Ohio (7%), Michigan (6%), Illinois (6.25%), and Kentucky (6%). Our parent company, Indiana Oxygen Co, has trucks that regularly deliver to these states, and the states' Revenue Services have concluded that this constitutes a physical presence and therefore we must collect Sales Tax. We don’t like it, but rules are rules.
Proof of ID. Due to an increase in fraudulent orders over the past few years, we may at our discretion, request a photocopy of your drivers license and the credit card you used to make the purchase. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us and we'll gladly discuss our policy with you.
Returns. We will gladly accept returns received within 14 days of delivery for a full refund,minus our original shipping cost. Orders returned outside of the 14 day window are subject to a 20% restocking fee, plus our original shipping cost. Returned items must be unused, in brand new condition, in original packaging. Items returned without their original packaging or in used condition will be returned to you at your expense.
Exchanges. If you’d like to exchange your purchase, simply return the new, unused item in its original packaging. Once we receive your exchange, we’ll send you a PayPal request to cover the shipping cost of the new item. Once we receive payment, we’ll ship out the new item and email you a tracking number.
The customer is always responsible for paying the shipping charges to get items back to us for a refund or exchange.
Cancellations. If you need to cancel your order, give us a call at 1-866-977-0017 and have your order number ready. As long as your order has not shipped yet, we’ll be able cancel the order and refund your money. Orders that have already been shipped can be returned for a refund, minus our original outbound shipping cost.
